An independent media

B2, is a media independent of any political party or national government, produced by professional journalists grouped in a cooperative under associative status (law 1901). The main decisions are taken by the editorial board. Our objective is to develop quality European information of general interest. B2 is officially recognized by the Commission for Publications and Press Agencies (CPPAP), and benefits from the specific “IPG” (Political and General Information) approval.

A team based at strategic points

B2 has a small team, placed at strategic points in Brussels, Paris and Berlin, near the main European sources of information (Commission, Parliament, Council, EEAS, NATO, etc.). The approach remains journalistic, with a concern to clearly identify the subjects, to bring out the essential, while avoiding any jargon.

A concern for self-expertise

Our specialization allows us to dissect complexities and flush out inconsistencies. We develop our own expertise to avoid depending on the expertise of one or the other. A quality that gives B2 a benchmark status. Our concern is not so much to flush out what does not "work" but also to unearth the solutions.

Interactivity with readers

Information to be confirmed, a wish to see a subject in depth, additional information needed on a published article… B2 is reactive and interactive. Contact us by email or by leaving a comment in an article. All comments are read. But their publication is limited in order to keep the confidentiality of the sources as well as not to harm the ease of reading.

A price calculated as accurately as possible

The subscription price corresponds only to the technical and editorial costs. B2 is supported by a non-profit association registered in France and does not have to bear any additional costs (loans, investors or shareholders). Its structural costs are thus reduced to the strict minimum (-2%). The administration of the site and the management of the structure is provided on a voluntary basis. All income is reinvested in the writing and the editorial tool. In the panorama of the European specialized press, B2 offers the best cost-quality ratio!
