Czech agreement for EUTM Mali

(BRUSSELS2) It's not quite yet. But the Defense Committee of the Czech Chamber of Deputies recommended on Thursday (February 15) the participation of the Czech army in the European mission in Mali. The plenary of the lower house is expected to vote next Tuesday (February 19). It should only be just a formality “, according to my colleagues from Radio Prague. The opposition (Social Democrat) which holds the majority in the Senate has, in fact, already given its agreement in principle. The Czech army should also provide surplus weapons to the Malian army: a hundred rifles, pistols and other machine guns, with the appropriate ammunition.
